Denise Wilson has more than 15 years’ experience in communications with a specialty in brand building, multi-cultural publicity and crisis management. At McDonald’s, Denise is part of the U.S. field communications team and oversees the proactive brand reputation and crisis management for close to 2,000 McDonald’s restaurants in the southeast.
Before McDonald’s, Denise developed and led Triad Retail Media’s comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations programs to amplify the company’s brand in the retail advertising industry and community. Before joining Triad, she was the director of corporate communications for HSNi, a $3.6 billion interactive multichannel retailer with strong direct-to-consumer expertise among its two operating segments, HSN and Cornerstone. She led the internal and external communications strategy for HSNi and drove visibility and credibility for the brand through multiple media channels. She spearheaded the PR efforts for HSN’s and Univision partnership announcement in 2013.
Before joining HSNi, she was part of Burger King Corp.’s global communications team for more than five years. She also developed and launched Burger King’s guest relations program which received consumer’s feedback for the more than 7,500 North American restaurants. In February 2012, she was presented with Burger King Corp.’s V.I.P (Values, Innovation and Performance) award among the company’s global employees.
